H=300U oil pan?

I believe they are. The U might have no petcocks, but I think they are the same bolt pattern and depth. Look at the parts diagram, it might show either the same part number, or an illustration indicating sameness. Jim
 
The 300 Farmall row crop oil pan looks to be the same as an H or Super H except for the petcocks as Janicholson noted. I do not know about the 300U as I have never been around one much.

Yes they work. Only difference is the 3/8 pipe threads in the side of the pan on all H and SH and two types of drain plugs. If you get a H one it will probably have a pipe plug drain. Need to use it because that's not like the 300 plug. Oil level check holes can be plugged for 300U use.
 
The 300/350 utility pans will bolt right on the H block. The utility tractor has oil dipsticks in the block with no pet cocks in the pan. The H block then would be hard to check oil level.
