Would anyone happen to know of a factory loader designed to fit on the 300 utility? Fay has a picture on page 57 of the book covering number series tractors and I have seen this loader on a tractor but only remember it saying "McCormick" on it. Anyone know the model number? I have a search set up to locate one for my tractor but I am getting too many bad hits and want to narrow down the search.

Definitely would work as an alternative. I have seen a LOT of 300U's with 350 paint schemes. Mine is all original and I am going to leave it that way but most of the 300's I have seen have had parts repainted white. One even had white doglegs which was not part of either model. I have seen this in the N Fords also. Lot of older tractors got new two tone paint jobs when the 8N came out. It's your tractor, it should look the way you like it.

Dave, The attached picture shows my factory original U-34 loader on my 300 utility with the 2-way hydralic bucket. The 2nd picture is a restored U-34 loader on a 350. Al

I have a 350 Utility and loader that has a loader that looks like the picture also. I did not see any model # on it. only McCormick. I would also like to find the model #. My unit has been restored and am asking $4,500.00 for it.

The loader you seek is model u-34. Mr r aiken's pic is the correct one, except it is a trip bucket. Our's was a hydraulic bucket; you need the factory hydraulic's to hook it up properly : 2 'touch control' remotes; the block on the r/s for 3 hose hook ups and the 1 on the left.Mark

I was looking at his picture and it looked an awful lot like a trip bucket to me too. The one I saw here locally was a hydraulic bucket. Don't know if you can convert a trip rope arrangement to a cylinder but now I am remembering the cylinder brackets on the one I looked at were home made so I am thinking he added that on. Thanks for the info!

Is there a name/model number on that? It would help me in my search. As far as selling it goes, I think my e-mail is open. Shoot me a note so we are not on the forum.

can't get e-mail to stay open so you can contact me at h a g e c p a AT a o l DOT c o m. Throw a post back on here if you don't get through to me with your contact info and we can talk about it. That looks like the McCormick loader I saw on one of the sale tractors I looked at a while back.

Hope you have power steering LOL. I have a loader here that would probably fit a 300U but since the 300U we have does not have power steering and it is a bear to steer we have not put it on. I tried it on an H but the H was to long for it to fit so the 300U seems to be about right
