wd9-650d distributor mount/drive

looking in my parts book on the wd-9, there is a serial number break for the distributor/magneto bracket and gasket that mounts it to the engine. from ser no. 16071 to 22239 it uses bracket 352 558 r91, ser no 22240 and up uses pn 261 206 r11 .i suspect the later was drilled for the live pump configuration.

thanks i guess mine would be the later part # the motor is a d350 out of a 650 i have it in swdr9

Can broaden your search if you have the drive gear, maybe from the hydraulic pump? Later D-248 and all D-264 and D-281 engines used the same drive housing and shaft as the D-350. Also some 9 series gas engines and 350 gas used the same drive housing. Early gas and diesel 9 series engines used the same drive gear but after that a different drive gear was used for diesels. Both 27 teeth and both used the same cam gear they meshed with. I don't know what the difference was in the drive gears.

I have the hydraulic pump on it now but that"s all I have Im worried about running it to much and locking the pump up and causing more problems

I was trying to say its the same drive gear on the D350 pump that works on the drive housing and shaft of some other models. If you don't find the D350 housing and gear you can remove the pump gear and install it on the drive housing shaft from one of the other engines mentioned. More of those engines are around for parts than a D350.
Also most housings have a number on them. You need a number 261206R1 housing and shaft.

You are running the hydraulic pump without the hoses and resivoir hooked up? Yes, that is a bad idea and will ruin the pump in short order.
