King Kutter finish mower to fast hitch

I got a nearly new mower at auction Sat. but it is set up for cat.1 hitch. I have a 3pt. adapter on my 340 fast hitch tractor I want to use it on. Has anyone run into this before and how did you solve it. Looks like I may have to make some parts as I don't see anything on their web site.

With the top link being removed and replaced by a chain (to allow compressionwhen the tail wheel/s rise over bumps, or the rear wheels are in a dead furrow, it will be fine. Jim

I have a 340 Farmall with fast hitch that I use my 6 foot bush hog that is 3 pt. If you have the IH factory 3pt adaptor, you don`t have to use a chain for the top link. There are pins on the socket that lets the socket flex/pivot. Move the pins to the back hole on each socket.

Mark, my 3point adapter is very similar to yours, my problem is the fixed width. The mower is narrower between the pins. I was thinking that someone has had to have ran into this before. I'm looking at buying some more flat stock and adding on to the A frame thats there. I need to learn how to post pictures. I can't believe king kutter doesn't have some product that solves this issue. But I can weld so i'll solve it. Thanks PS Thanks for the tip on the hitch, i did not know that.
