Install Radiator on Farmall 100

There has to be a way to re-install the radiator on my 100. I just haven"t found it yet.

Engine is fully exposed, fan is installed. Lots of open space in which to work. I can get the hoses connected--- OR ---- I can get the radiator bolts in place-----but not both.

Help.

I usually install radiators with the fan shroud hanging loose. It will go together, just not immediately.

I put the bolts & rubber pads on the radiator, and the hoses on the radiator, with the engine-side clamps in place, and worked until it all fell into place. Takes a while, a few bud lites, and a few choice words, but it works.

Put the fan shroud after the above is in place, then bolt the top bracket to the radiator

I removed the studs form the radiator bottom and screwed the studs in again after radiator, hoses, shroud, etc. are in place.

Thanks for all the comments.

The Bud LiteS did the trick.

And, so far, no leaks around the hoses. That's a challenge for me at times.

A few cold Bud Lites can solve a lot of issues when working on these old tractors. Just have to remember to take a few minutes for a break and a fresh cold one, Hal.
