Here are some pictures of my drag link. Check them out and see how bent up it is compared to a stock one.

I took some photos of the drag link on two of my tractors, a 600 and Super WD9. As you can see they have a couple of bends from the factory. If you compare mine to your's you can that they match except for the slight bend in your's where it has a hole worn in it. Straighten it in that area and then just weld the hole shut.

I have 16.9 on my W9 & SWD9 and 18.4 on my 600 & 650. I don't remember the rim size's but it is what tire size should be on them.

(quoted from post at 12:19:46 07/08/12) I have 16.9 on my W9 & SWD9 and 18.4 on my 600 & 650. I don't remember the rim size's but it is what tire size should be on them.

Thanks! That's what I thought from the picture of them the other day. Mine has 18.4 and I think I will stick with them. They were 16.4 from the factory, but they look so skinny. I think somebody also put wider rims on this one at some point. I will try to measure them tonight. I plan on ordering tires pretty soon so I can get delivery at a local show.

These are the only two pictures I have of the tractor as (mostly) one piece. Those are 18.4s. Let me know what you think.

Those rims look like the right rims for 18.4's. According to the info I have the standard rear tire on W9's all the way thru the 650's was 16.9's or as the sizing was back then 14.00 x 34's. But it is common to see 18.4 on these tractors. By the way are you going to be at RPRU 2012.

I wasn't planning on it. I really have no excuse since you are going twice as far and hauling 4 BIG tractors. That load is at least 30,000 lbs if each weighs only 7500 lbs. Can I assume you are using a semi?

If you are going I-90 through Janesville I will meet you at the truckstop. The TA there is usually pretty cheap (but the Love's just down I-90 at Rockton Rd is usually cheaper by a couple pennies) The Love's is one of those dumb ones with two prices, one for cash and one for card if I remember correctly. I don't carry cash so I am not a big fan of that. The credit price may still be cheaper than the Janesville TA price.

No sorry that is to far out of route. I will be heading south thru Iowa. And yes I do have a semi to haul with. I am in the trucking business, just one truck, pull a drive van. This is the toy box I bring them in and store them in the rest of the time.
