What will a 454 pull?

We"ve just added a 454 to the fleet, and I"ll doubtless have more
questions for you kind folks as soon as I start making various minor
adjustments on it, but for now I"m curious about one thing: how
much plow, disc, and mower can I expect to pull comfortably with
it, assuming somewhat hilly land? Thanks.

Have a 495, same basic tractor, but much newer, on 14.9-28 rubber.

Ours actually pulls in "hilly land":

3 x 12 plow
28 plate disk harrow
10 foot spring tooth harrow
6' 8" 3pt disc mower

Now, not to say these are the largest it could pull, but they are what we actually use and the tractor has no problem with them.

Hi, my brother now has my Dad's 454 with 16.9x28 calcium filled tires on the rear and we opened the injection pump up to sames as 464 and it would pull a 3x14 plow, 10.5 ft disk harrow, IH 430 baler with thrower and 100 bale load on hilly ground. The good thing about 454 as it has same transmission/rear end as the 72 HP 884, so you do not have to worry about over loading transmission/rear end.
