IH Fairway 12 Tractor

Found a Fairway 12 Tractor in a collection for an upcoming auction. Ser. #FOS1101, does anyone know how many were manufactured?? It appears to be pretty rare, is that the case?

A farmer in Ohio has this Fairway 12. It may have been used by the miltary. It had red and yellow paint, but he sandblasted it to bare metal. Someone in the archives said they were built from 1934 til 1938. I didn't find any in tractordata. Hal

As far as one can determine about 600. They were numbered with the O-12 but with a prefix F on the serial number. My O-12 is OS 2346, if it was a Fairway it would have been FOS 2346. The original description of the Fairway 12 was that it was an O-12 with I-12 brakes.

Thanks to those who have replied regarding my Fairway 12 inquiry. For those interested in seeing a picture of the Fairway 12 Tractor I will try to submit one to Yesterdays Tractor. Again, if anyone has more information verifying the number manufactured, I would appreciate your help.

Athol Carr already did answer the question. Since there were multiple tractors included in the same serial NUMBER run with only the prefix difference there is no set number to give an exact number. Most information for this sort of stuff was pitched out when Tenneco merged IH and Case
