I just installed a new TA and MCV hyd pump. I have it runnig and have no brakes. I removed the mcv thinking I missed an o-ring or blew a gasket but that was not the case. Does anyone hve an idea what it could be. When the tractor is running the steering works fine. The ta works fine. It sound like it is sucking air. If I missed the O-ring between the rearend and ta housing could this cause the pump to suck air?

Yea, But did you go thru the MCV and check all the valve spools and install a new MCV spring kit and set pressures ?? Did you set the end play on the Quill?? .Did you bleed the brakes?? There is a lot more to installing a T/A then just twisten some bolts and nuts. Did you put the sump check plug in ?? Did you install all new gskt's and o/rings in the MCV??
