Farmall 300 row crop grill fix or find?

Hi all-I need to get a good grill for my Farmall 300 row crop? The one I have is solid with no gashes but is dented pretty bad. Has anyone ever used the sundahl's restoration tools on the Farmall 300 or 350 set? I have called a couple of scrap yards but they want to sell the whole cowling and not just the grill. If anyone has one for sale in good shape please email me at [email protected].

Joel - I purchased a set of Sundahl's tools to straighten a badly bashed in grille on my Super M. Straightening took a couple days of banging on the grill. I also had several sheet metal tears welded closed by a son in law. But the finished results are most satisfactory.

For me the Sundahl tool set was money well spent.

I've been able to get satisfactory results on grills using the $20 body hammer and dolly set from Harbor Freight.

Bang it out pretty close and use a little filler and glazing putty to smooth out the final ripples. Lots of priming and sanding.

The sheet metal on the '00 series tractors was not very good. You will not find a "perfect" piece anywhere.
