'06 fenders on 560

I have a pair of '06 flat top fenders I would like to put on my 560. They are too heavy to bolt on to the axel housing. Is there an easy way to either measure for U bolts or any other suggestions to attach these would be appreciated. Photos, even better. Thanks in advance.

I've never seen it done, but here is what I would do. 560 axle is square, right? Use a length of heavy flat bar stock 5/8 or 3/4 inch thick, 3 inches or so wide. Cut to length as needed. Drill 3/4 inch holes in bar to match with hole pattern in fender axle mount. Get grade five 3/4 inch bolts of sufficient length. Put fenders on top of axle, bar on underside. Use flat washers and lock washers as necessary. Tighten securely.
You may find that you need to weld small pieces of 1/2 bar stock to the underside of fender axle mount to keep the axle mount centered and square on the axle. If you do not want to weld to the fender axle mount, weld bars to the flat bar stock, it will serve the same purpose, you will just have to position the fender mount straight and square on the axle as you tighten the bolts.

My brother has had a set on for over 20 years.has a set of U-bolts made of 3/4 all thread.Or make a clamp out of long bolts and flat stock. Years(30) agoI had a set of JD(4020) flattops on a 720 with the same clamping system.

I had a set from a 706 on a 560. I cut the bracket off the fender and made a flat bracket and drilled it and welded it to the fender and bolted it to the top of the axle. It worked just fine.
