float level H

I think my float level is Okay but I am unsure of how to check it. What is the easiest method? I see in my manual that it is 1 and 27/32 from upper body. This seems like a tricky measurement to get. Is it resting on the needle?

Yes, resting on the needle. I use a ruler that is marked in 1/64th graduations. I mark the correct reading on the ruler with a marking pen so it's easier for me to see.

Bet they make a 27/32 drill bit, will it slip in there to tell you how you're doing on float height?

That method does not work on a Farmall H or M carburetor.
