Super A drawbar

Just picked up a 51 Super A. It was missing the U shaped drawbar. Seen several online for sale, some with brackets and some without. Are they required for mounting? Anyone got a pic how they mount? Thanks!

Yes you need the brackets to mount the U shaped draw bar to the tractor. The hookup is easy and once you get the draw bar you can see how it hooks up. You might want to get the T shaped bar also. Its handy to have.

Concur with Erik; the brackets are required.
Got my drawbar through a classified ad on this site.
The brackets (1 left hand, 1 right hand) are available aftermarket. Bought mine from Ken Updike at Carter and Gruenewald.
By all means, get a set of manuals: user manual, service manual, parts manual.

I have a couple of complete draw bars for sale .150 for the U shaped one with the brackets and the T draw bar. Im located in Ontario.
