What is the refill capacity for a 1066 with a filter change?

My book says 20 quarts. it says 18 quarts of oil and 2 of herosene. Kent

20 qts or 5 gal.

We had a new 1066 and you had to stop the tractor dead still or it would grind and not lock. If it still grinds then the pall is probabjy wore.

IH used to recommend adding kerosene to reduce viscosity for extreme cold conditions. I don't recall ever seeing or hearing of anyone actually doing that.
