Hey guys i was wanting to put on new plate how do i go about doing that they sent me new rivets but did not no how to install them also do i just grind the old ones off the tractor i farmall H Thanks for all the help

I've never done it on an IH product but I assume you were sent spiral shank rivets. They are driven in like nails.

If your center section is not bolted to the engine, you drive them out from the inside. Otherwise, you will have to remove the head and drive them through from the outside. You may wind up with holes that are too big. Epoxy will fix that.

You could use a grinder but I would use a small chisel so you don't get grinding marks. Those will be the marks of an amateur.

I have done this by drilling the center of the old brass rivets. This seems the quickest method. It is easy to get off to one side to much though. Care must be taken.

Others have suggested using several thin putty knives driven in behind the plate to pry the tag up. Then after you get several in there, you can pull them out and use side cutters to get under the head and pull the rivets out.
