What is a 54 super h worth the grii is perfect the hood has been modified for a alternator it run but the chock butterfly is missing on the carberator it has it is a stage 2 needs bone rear rim rear tires front rims are good but one flat battery box is rusted corroded Im in okla he asking 1,500.00

Sounds a little high to me. Gave 600 for a regular H with near new rear tires and ready to go to work.

Gary

I sold one worse than that a couple years ago for 2600.00 on Ebay. BUT, that was a couple years ago too !! Here in Minnesota, it would bring 1500.00 all day long, IMO.

I agree with Super H Mike. That price for one with those issues is good for the seller and good for the buyer. Jim

$1,500 is about twice what it is worth. Rims, tires, battery box, and hood will all add up to about 3 times what that tractor will ever be worth.

How's the hood modified? Piece cut out, or just a flap bent up? If the piece is still there and you know someone, you could just weld it back in place and do a little body work. Nobody'd be the wiser.

Most of the things the tractor needs can be source as used parts fairly inexpensively if you are willing to take some time to hunt, and take advantage of targets of opportunity. It took me 5 years to source all the parts I wanted for my Super H. I was able to wrangle good deals on major items like tires because I watched the ads and pounced when a good deal presented itself.

There are no good deals on tires anymore. I bought a pair of Titan 12.4x38s just a little over one year ago. I bought them when they WERE on sale, and still had over $380 EACH plus the tubes for another $20 each. Current prices are close to $500 EACH.

That's not a bad price if it's a stage II. I've been looking for a stage II Super H to go with my Super M and haven't had any luck. The cheapest Super H I came a across was at $3000.

Might be a touch high with all the rubber it needs, but it is close. The hood can be fixed easy. Just buy a REALLY junky hood for cheap/free and cut out a patch panel from that. Other parts can be had the money part depends how patient you are on waiting for a deal.

It seems like the Stage 2 Hs and Ms seems to tag ANOTHER $1000.00 onto the price on average over the straight Hs , Ms and Stage 1 Supers???

When I bought my Stage 2 Super M back in 2000,They were consistently $1000 MORE than a straight M or Stage 1 Super. But I passed up on 3 different Super MTAs that were about the SAME price as My Stage 2 Super M ?????(I DID NOT want to EVER have to buy ANY of the MTA planetary parts!!! $$$$$$$ lol)
