IH horse plows (O/T?)

IH bought the Chattanooga Plow Co in June of 1919. Is there a web site that discusses the old plows (or other sources for info) (Wisconsin Hist). I have a lead on a plow (Model 95L) that is supposed to be NEW and never put together (handles, etc). Interested in value and to find it a home in a museum (for free) if true. This post will be open to criticism I know, but let's see. Thanks, JD

JD, you might try the discussion forum of Rural Heritage and do a post asking for information. Also Sam Moore who writes a column of "OLD IRON" in the magazine seems to have a heck of a lot of info on such things. I've never heard of any IHC horse plows other than their "P & O". If you have any problems locating the Rural Heritage website or their forum, gimme a shout. Good luck, kelly

Don't know "95L" but the "95" was part of the "90 Series" plow models. I found it in the 1927 catalog. I can't speak to the current value. WHS can probably make a copy of an owners manual.
