Legnth and diameter of rear weight square head bolts???

Yea,Me again

What are the legnth and diameter of the square headed bolts for the SECOND weight to bolt to the first one already bolted to the wheel ???

I am looking for an economical bolt and nut.I will probably be calling Fastenall tommorow?(They sell sets of 8 of them on Ebay,but I AM NOT gonna pay $60.00 + shipping for 8 bolts !!!!)

I assume you are talking about the SM in your previous post?

If so then 3/4 x 3 1/2 will do it.

Because of the high cost of the bolts from Fastenal and ebay I made my own out of 3/4" continuous thread rod and the appropriate nuts and washers. I mounted 1 rod in the 12 o'clock position and then put 3 weights on. Added the other 3 rods and appropriate nuts and tightened every thing up. Was alot cheaper that the square head bolts.

I use square nuts (easier to find and cheaper) on grade 8 bolts (safer).

They aren't going to be much cheaper from Fastenal than $80. BTW, you can look at the parts book online and get all the dimensions.

Hex head bolts and nuts will work just fine unless you are wanting to be politically correct.
