Spark plug gap

IH Farmall M, I bought a set of Autolite plugs #3116 because they were highly recommended by others at this forum sight. I have been using Champion D15Y plugs and gaping them according to my owners manual. The tractor has about 20 hours on an overhaul. What is a good gap setting? Thank You, Ellis

The gap is the same.

Only reason to increase the gap is if you have an aftermarket, high energy ignition coil.
 
If the rest of the ignition hasnt changed, I see no reason to change the plug gap from stock recommendation. As posted below, its not necessary but sometimes when guys go to elec ignitions and high energy high voltage coils they run wider gaps for a wider higher energy spark discharge...
