Super A rear wheel weights

I want to remove my rear wheel weights on my Super A, I have soaked the bolts and nuts that attach them for a week in pb blaster and wd 40. I still can not break them loose with my air impact wrench or a pull handle (with cheater bar on it) Any ideas to try are greatly appreciated.

WD40 is worthless for that problem. PB ya but if it has been a week it is time for heat or you will be soaking them till this time next year. Of course a good cheater bar and a good big 3/4 drive set up will do it also. Say a 8 foot bar and a lot of pull and you either pop them free or brake them. Oh by the way you might try something that does work well and that is ATF

If you have a torch you can heat the nuts and this will do wonders for stuck nuts and bolts. Just be carful with the torch as they are really HOT..

If you can get to them, crack the nuts with a chizel and a BF hammer.but if they are that badly rusted they are beyond saving...torch em.

i just last week had the same problum, 1st i had the a blocked up or so i thought, the weight will shift when you remove the weight on the right side (from setting in the seat). i had 2 bolts that were rusted in i cut the nuts off using a chisel, didn't help. i finally got it off because the bolts were so rusted they broke, when it fell that is when the weight shifted could have been seriously hurt, after it was off i beat on it used pb blaster for a hour or so, didn't help either so i will be using a tourch to burn them out
