Does anyone know if the peg that the clutch peddle mounts on is threaded into the frame rail, or is it a press fit? Welded? I am guessing it is threaded in, but don't have it cleaned up enough to tell yet..... .thought I would ask.

Mine is worn badley, and was looking to remove it and build up with weld, and turn back down..... I guess a bushing is also an option.

On my W-30, I laid a couple beads of weld on the worn spots and ground/filed/sanded them smooth & true. Bushed the hole in the pedal too.

Worked fine.

That "peg" is press fit into the side rail. I found a local shop that had a 50 ton press. They pushed out the old one and installed the new one. On one of mine they had to apply a little heat. Pins are available from Rice Equipment.
