Value of a Farmall A

I'm wondering what an A might go for these days if it runs and has decent tires - no restoration. There's an auction next weekend and the ad lists 2 of them - no other details. I'm planning stop in and check them out.

Charlie, I would say $800 TO $1200, but its up to you. If you have a use for one, its a good little tractor. Parts are available from Case IH dealers and others. A Super A with hydraulics is better. I paid $350 for one with a stuck motor, spent twice that getting it going, and I'm not sorry.

Pretty much what everyone else has said. $1000 - $1200 if the rubber is decent and there are no cracks in the block, and it runs.
