this was my winter project,fix oil leaks, replace seals and rebuild upper bolster. the sheet metal was pretty good. stripped off old brushed on paint and repainted with nason fulthane. hope the pics come out.

DOT on the Interstate wont like those eye bolts on the frame for chains. Depending who stops you could cost lots of money.

I told TXDOT that the eyebolts on my SH were cultivator mounting loops.

He didn't know the difference and let it go. I did have 4 separate binders and chains. All the appropriate G70 rated.

You can hook chains to the low side of the frame rails and pull out. That is what I do. You could also bolt short chunks of chain to the frame rails. You could also use a clevis in the front. You could also get/make a plate that bolts onto the front.

The load rating on those hooks gets cut in half when you have a lateral pull on them. That makes them not big enough to be legal.
