B275 + or - ground?

I'm repairing the hacked out electrical system on one of these. Can someone help?

B-275 Diesel was 12 NEG ground. It had two 6v batterys in it but I switched it to two 12v.

Just a heads up, Marion is having a Pull next to Vics arena on May 7th. and.... there also having another pull in Seguin at the Red Barn on May 14th.

We had an early B-414D which was same as B-275 except larger BD-154 engine and it was 2 x 6V batteries in series and + Positive Gnd. If someone has converted the B-275 to an alternator then it is most likely - Negative Gnd as most alternators were - Negative Gnd systems.
