Just had the mag work on the guy said to get auto lite plugs then I put the plugs on and I gap them then put the mag back on and time it. I get spark from1,2,4, 3 don't ,so I test the plugs with spark tester and still don't get spark form plug 3. Took one of the spark cables that worked off and put it on number 3, still no spark. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM.

Bad cap or rotor. Look for a carbon track in the cap by the one that doesn't fire.

Sounds like who ever worked on that mag missed something. A rotor or cap could cause that problem as could a bad bushing in the mag and that could cause the points not to work on #3. So pretty much the mag still is not correct or you would have spark

This mag has been worked on buy 3 different people, I really getting sick of these mag guys.
