424 Lift Will Not Go Down!!!

Replaced all o-rings in system. Now lift goes up as soon as tractor is started. Will not go down, even after shutting tractor off.Lift control has no effect. Need suggestions, tired of fooling with it.Divider valve is in correct position. Thanks!

There's a whole Blue Ribbon IH Service Manual devoted to that lift.

If you are going to fix it, you're gonna need one!

Make sure the hand valves in front of your seat are wide open.

Hi TDK, make sure the draft control lever is all the way forward. From your description it would appear the draft control system is telling the 3pt to lift.

Draft lever has no effect. Hand valves are wide open.
