4 1/8 pistons in M block

Can a C-248 block from a farmall M be bored to take the over bore sleeves and pistion"s for a farmall super m? Im looking to go to 281 ci not 264 ci. The block I have looks good in the water jacket. What is the min wall thickness in the block I can run? I plan on having block sonic checked to be sure that there is enough wall thickness before I have it bored.
 
The super M bore was 4" stock 264 ci The M bore was 3 7/8" in stock. I am looking to Take a M block to the 4 1/8" bore. The aftermarket makes over sized piston sleeve kits to take a Super M to 4 1/8" bore. For a M block I can only find over bore kits to go to a 4" bore. Thats why I am looking into boring a stock M 248 ci block to take the over bore kit 4 1/8" for a super M.
 
The casting does (as you are prepared to test for) need to be free of core shifts on the cylinder castings. but it has been done successfully. Be sure to machine the sleeve ring recesses so the sleeves stick out .002" or a little more above the deck. Jim
 
Got 4 1/4" Denney's No-Stroke pistons in my 40 M Puller. Haven't dinoed because I remove the PTO and everything else that had weight. IAW Denney's with the added items (450 cam, hi pro governor, mod carb, and distrib)it should have 90plus HP. Just know, that it's been the number 1 place annual winner for the past 6 years.

How was the service and quality of Denny's? This seems like the first glowing review I have seen so I have to ask. How much did you have in it?
You punched it and sleeved it to 4 1/4"?
