I took these pictures today (12-9-11) 1/2 mile south of Boxholm Iowa on highway 169. I think you're in big trouble if the first tool you need in your restoration project is a chainsaw. My only consoltion was noting that the tractor was green and not one of my precious and beloved red ones.

Looks cold there cut them tree down for
firewood and that tractor would be gone in a day or two. oldiron29

Cut the firewood, put a battery in it and that old 630 will probably fire right up

Ive been told by a friend who lives nearby a few hundred people have tried to buy that tractor.the guy who owns it gets his kicks telling people no.

I like my red but that thing could follow me home any time. It looks good and straight yet too. Hopefully they don't drop a tree on it when it eventually gets cut loose.

(quoted from post at 23:27:08 01/09/11) How can you tell its a 630?I think it looks like a 730
I didn't think it looked wide enough in the front end to be a 730, but after looking at the rear end pics, I now believe it is a 730.
