pullin 560 d sleeves

i need to do a inframe on my 560 D i want to send the head off for rebuild send the rad off and sleeves it problem is i havent taken a 282 apart before any advice or do's or donts to geting this engine apart?

Just get the right sized puck & use a sleeve puller. Don"t go pounding on them. They can be tight sometimes.

You should have that crankshaft measured for wear

if you have a welder, the fastest way to get them out is to weld 2 beads across from each other pretty much the length of sleeve. go kinda fast so you dont get to much heat happening and dont worry what the bead looks like. let her cool a bit then stick your hand in with glove and make a fist and they pull right out. can have 6 out in around 15 min. make sure you have protection over top of crank.
