I recently acquired a 1953 H, Serial No. 391415. It has disc brakes, flat lights, & starter & Volt. Reg. like a SH. I have read that Harvester made the last few hundred H's with SH features.I am curious is these late models are collectible & more valuable than their counterparts. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Serial number 391358 and higher was like that. Since 391730 was the last one made that would make them kind of rare and maybe worth more.
Other than you already stated they used the same size clutch, piliot bearing, flywheel, crankshaft as a SH, also a few other things. H gear speeds and engine size were used.

I bought 391474 x1 for Dad before he passed away last april. it was worth more to me since he had wanted a late H with Super H features since seeing one as a kid in 1953. Don"t know if it"s really worth more to anyone else - but it made Dad happy. I still have it and plan to keep it, will enjoy it regardless of value. It"s a very usable tractor. I had looked for a couple of years prior to finding this one. Hope that helps with your question.

I watched one of those late Hs sell at an estate auction a couple of years ago. Been kicking myself ever since for not at least bidding on it. It basically was field ready, with only one or two "farmer" modifications, and sold for about $900 if I remember right.

I have SN 389442 and other than the hardened timing gears it's all straight H with NO Super parts.

Not sure if the late SN adds to the value at all, but great features none the less!
