766 power steering problem update

I had asked a few days ago why my power steering won't work when its below freezing. Its been in the mid 50's for days so i loosened all the drain plugs in the tranny,, but no water came out. I took the hydraulic filter cover off and ran a bit into a bucket and its just like whenn i put it in the tractor back in the spring. So i'm thinking water is not my problem. Where do i go next? Someone menchined a problem with the mcv. I don't even know what a mcv is. Any ideas wherere i should go next? Here's a pic of the fluid i drained out of the filter cover tonite, and a pic of the blower i putting back together after blasting, primer, and paint. Its to small for the 766. it will go on my Cub Cadet 1772. Thanks Kent
