Farmall C H4 mag

I have a H4 Mag on my C,If I switch it out with a distributor will I have to change the 3 position switch?

No, but you will need a different ign switch to feed juice to the coil. The mag switch connects to ground.

You can convert your mag to a distributor like in this pic. hal

The three position switch is correct with mag or not. The ignition switch will need to be changed to a pull on, push off toggle (or an original IH ignition switch) the switch will be connected to the load side of the amp gauge, and the ignition coil (or ignition ballast resistor if equipped). Jim
