I’m going tomorrow to look at what is reportedly an IH two-bottom 16” roll over plow

Can anyone tell me what model plow this might be? Also how many HP do you think it would take to pull it? I’ve heard they pull hard. I have an IH 574 diesel and can currently pull a JD three bottom 14” plow. I just always thought a roll over would be nice on my side hill.

IH 214 with the IH 3-point conversion kit installed.

No guage wheel attachment and no furrow wheels so yes, bet it would pull kinda hard. :>)

They were originally designed as a 2-point implement and when set up right, could be handled fairly easily with a 50 horse tractor.

You'll have to measure it across the beams to be sure.

But, back in those days, a 16 incher was a HUGE plow.

And it should have a tail wheel or wheels and some sort of depth gauge wheel or wheels as well? Would it be unusable without these? I have yet to see it in person yet so not sure if he has any other parts.
Thanks
