I got a pump with pulleys attached and inside fan from salvage. I put 4 shots of grease in the water pump, turning the shaft a quarter turn between pumps, and did likewise with the fan zerk. Setting on its base, when I turned it, it still had a rubbing sound. How many pumps of grease would u give each not knowing its previous maintenance?

2 more, then run it. The pump Water seal needs water to lube it, so that might be part of the issue. Jim
