6 to 12 volt on Farmall H

I want to change my H from 6 to 12 volt where can I find the wiring information and resistor to put on the system. or would it be better to change the coil to 12 volt.

Resister will cost you around $7 and a coil twice that but a true 12 volt coil is worth the extra $$. As for wiring it the archives are full of diagrams and it also depends on what alternator you plan to use

These should do it. Use a Hitachi alternator from mid 1980 Nissan for better space and adjustibility. L terminal is same as Delco 1 and S terminal is same as Delco 2. Jim
