I have replaced the main lift pump (17 gpm) and the pressure relief valve (1600 lb.). I have tested pressure at the start and had 200 psi, now I can only get 700 psi at full throttle. I also changed the hydrualic filter. I can get the dual loader to come off the ground but not lift much of a load, not enough pressure. Help, where should I look now?

Check that you got the screen and o-ring in right on the filter then make sure you have the right relief valve for that location.

thank you caterpillar man. tried it and no success. we are going to lift the rock shaft and check the pressure side o-ring as we had to replace the reverse driven gear after someone used the tractor and slammed on the park brake while the tactor was still in motion. we used a substitute o-ring and we feel that it may be leaking. thank you again for your suggestion.

Hey caterpillar guy, we found it. the replacement o-ring that we used was completely shattered. We believe that the material composition was wrong for the type of oil and pressure. we are using hytrans oil as recommended for the system. thank you again for your respose. this may save someone else the week long head ache of trying to find a similar problem. composition of materials can and have caused many problems.
