Ever hear of this happening on a Farmall 300

Front bolster broken clear across on the back side just below the radiator. No other visable damage found.

I have not, a rare break for sure. Do you know what stress caused it? I imagine running into a stump or similar. (I also imagine the frame rails bending before the casting gives up) Jim

Mine broke there once, I was young enough that I don't remember it but the old casting is still out in the iron pile.

I would guess the tractor has seen some abuse or maybe someone tried lifting objects with a front loader that were way too heavy?
