What size tires??

I have some manure spreader rims. 4.5 x 16 if I am measuring the right places. Do I have to use a 4.5 tire or do I have some leeway to shop for price. Looking at ag tires if it makes a difference.

Well if the rim is 4.5 inches wide then the correct tire will be about an inch wider or at least that is what seems to be the think on most. Like a 15.5X39 tire I have here that say mount on a 14 inch wide rim that tire is about an inch and a half wider then the rim it is calling for so yep you have a little play room as in 5,5.5,6,or 6.5 should work just fine as long as you have the room on the machine to handle them with out rubbing
