Need advice on Super C touch control

I bought a 52 super C a few years back with fast hitch. The hydraulics always worked slow but would lift very strong. Recently while using it the hydraulics just flat out quit. No up no down no nothing. Touch control is full so it's not leaking into the crank case. I pulled the screen out and it was very clean. Talked to the old boy I bought it from and He said he had the hydraulics worked on years ago and from time to time it would quit like this and he would blow air into the fill hole with a compressor and it would start working again. I didn't think blowing air in it sounded like a good idea. I have gone through all the steps to get air out of it though with no results. The pump is warm to the touch and it sounds like it's turning when I use put a dow rod to it and listen. I'm open to any and all ideas. I need to get the sickle mower on it and knock some weeds down.

Paul, I had one once that the key was sheared on the pump. (or the gear, don't remember which). But on all accounts, take that pump off, check for any sheared keys, and replace the o rings.
 
I would install a pressure gauge and see what the pressure is. Your pump may need rebuilding.
I had a Super C and it blew one the pressure lines when I had completed the last furrow across the garden when I went to lift the plow. I made up new pressure lines and replaced both of them. Hal

Make sure the washer is bent so the nut wont come loose. Worked on on that the gear was loose was able to shim it and it worked just fine.I was able to use a pop can for the shim as it miked out just riteand with nes key. Someone did not bend the washer over thus letting gear get loose. Had another one gear came off and messed up the cam gear when it came off.Bend the washer.
