Drawbar Swap

I am quite sure the heavier U frame from an M can be bolted on a Farmall 300, but can the actual draw bar from an M, mount underneath the 300 without too much fabrication?

The horseshoe part of the drawbar will interchange from the H up through the 560, but the swinging drawbar will interchange only from the H through the 350, and the M through the 450. In other words, the swinging drawbar from an M will not fit the 300.

YOu can modify the pivot bracket, ot thin the tongue at the pivot, and use a bushing to reduce the pin size. Not too tough, and stronger. Jim

Those drawbars have considerably different bends in them, to accomodate and clear the trans/rear-end housings. That is why I say they will not interchange.

you are correct. I will remember that. If they can modify the pivot, they should be able to deal with the bends. Good thinking. Jim
