Is there somewhere on line I can check for parts for a model 46 baler. There are a couple I'm looking to see if they are available and if so whats the cost.I didn't have much luck on the Case IH website - maybe I wasn't using it right but they come up with a 40 year old balers easily.

There are a bunch of balers on caseih.com but they seemed to have ignored the older models. I am looking for a Model 55 produced from '53 to "57 (?). I went to eBay and immediately found a 55 parts book printed in '56 for $10.55 which included shipping.

Now that I have the book, I am looking for an actual baler that will accept the Electrall motor. I'd be willing to travel about 1000 miles for the right deal. If it was near LaPorte, IN that would be perfect. I am located in eastern Mass.

I just parted one out a few weeks ago, keeping many parts for mine, so I may be of help.
I'm in NC Iowa.

Now my problem - my good one broke yesterday. The weld on the end of the shaft running 90 degrees to the knotter shaft. Must have tied a bale, with needles up when the weld gave way, as I broke both needles.
How do I get in time to reweld the "arm" on the end of the shaft?
