Worn Out Steering Cylinder On 1066

A previous owner welded the replaceable block to the end of the steering cylinder on my 1066. I have a new block from a front end kit I bought. Can the current one be milled out and have a bushing put in or some other fix? Or should I bite the bullet and get a new cylinder. The ram alone is almost 2/3's the cost of a new assembly and then seals on top of that.

I would also appreciate some input on my previous post on fixing my double acting check valves on my remotes.

dealer parts are high. the rod is $488 the seal kit is $82. i can get you a remanufactured steering cylinder for $400. plus ups.

Will that come with the end? How much would the trunion bushings be? (Hopefully that is the upper and lower pivot bushings.)
