farmall md engine gaskets

Your local dealer isn't a bad idea. If you don't go there one day they won't be there!
I remember one guy expressing access issues to a dealer. I have the luxury of two within 10 miles. If you have to order stuff Andrew Z has a great suggestion.

the pan is very easy just take off and clean and replace. If you need to replace the pump mounting gasket then youll need to remove the front timing cover for the injector too. Personally for the cover i would use RTV. You will also have to remove all the lines going to the pump, fuel inlet, return, and injector lines. You cant really get the timing messed up because when you remove the pump there are marks on the gear and on the hub of the pump just make sure to line them back up when replacing. If i was you i would invest in a manual if you dont have one already, there a world of help when dealing with these diesels.

Ditto. Manual is KEY. Pan is easy.

I haven't popped my pump yet. If I were you, I would replace the gasket between the lift pump and the big pump as long as you had all that stuff off. "They" claim that can be a source of oil dilution problems. With all that, if you don't have a problem now maybe you should leave well enough alone.

I am east of Janesville by Hwy M and A. How in the world did you end up in AR!?!

So true.....we need to support them so they stay around. Of course, I'm kind of biased, I'm the inhouse hauler for my dealer, so they support me too.
