IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY TO KNOW WHAT YEAR THE FARMALL B IS WITH DIFFERNT CASTING NUMBERS OR IS THE SERIAL NUMBER THE ONLY WAY THANKS FOR ANY HELP

Right below the number one spark plug is the engine serial number which is the same one that would have been on the seat tag if all parts were original and nothing swapped out....like a new engine at some point.

If it has the orginal engine and the SN is between 501 and 201000, the engine serial matches the chassis serial.
