I am rebuilding the engine on my Super C and would like to put the 3 1/4" sleeves and pistons into it but I don't know if they will fit, the block casting # is 354898R2. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Chuck

No problem installing those sleeves. Be sure to clean the top recess and the block area where the new seals will be installed. Hal

They fit. Just be sure you have an OD of 3 7/16 inches at the seal in the old sleeves, just in case someone has bored it.

Make darn sure that the new sleeves protrude above the deck of the block within the specified range of .003" - .005". Any more than that and you WILL have coolant leakage. I had a set of sleeves that stuck up around .007" (due to the block having been milled which makes the counterbores shallower) and wound up having to take a few thousandths off of each to get the head gasket to seal.
