Farmall Super C Loader - How much can it lift

I just put a Original Loader on my Super C.
I can only get it to lift About 300 lbs.
I think i have a bad Hyd Pump???
What can i expect my loader to lift?

Use a hy guage to see how much pressure the pump is putting out. Also the seal in the pump mite be shot and hy fluid could be leaking into the crankcase. Your pump should be putting out 1000 under load. Your control valve could also be leaking. Many things to check .

300lbs is about all you SHOULD lift with it, but it should be capable of lifting a lot more. You need to get a pressure gauge and find out what's going on.

If you have a C-32 loader, it was rated for 900# full lift and 1350# break away. As already stated, I don't think I would try driving it with that sort of load. But it should lift it.

Checking pressure is the place to start on identifying the problem.

Mine will lift a full bucket of dirt, but if you want to pull posts I need the fast hitch.
