super a flywheel torque

Is there a specific torque setting for installing the flywheel on the crank? It is not covered in my manual and have heard different ideas. I appreciate any thoughts.

I don't find a specific torque in any of my books. Nor, of course does the Parts Catalog list a size for them which would be useful. Something on the order of 45-50 ft-lbs, would be about right. Just be sure to bend up the corners of the locks, and that should be plenty tight.

Good catch, Keith!

I went back and scoured some more and finally came up with 37 for the A/B. Coulda sworn I'd looked there, but there it was in plain sight, right at the end of the discussion of the crank.

Scotty, I knew right where the torque spec.s were in my manual, as I had just looked up tightening data for someone else last week. Cursed with instant recall!!!
