340 head gasket- install dry or ??????

Fel-Pro 7900S head gasket. No instructions. Has the blue striped side marked THIS SIDE OUT (I assume that means UP) and a smooth silver side. Do I install it dry or put some magic goo of some sort on it?

I spray Copper coat gasket sealer on both sides and wait for it to become just unstickie, but not dry. This allows it to mold to the surfaces and inprove the chances of a good seal. Unless the gasket package says not to. I would even do it then if there had been and issue with the old gasket. JimN

Don't use the magic goooooo

. Use "Spray On" Copper Coat. Spray both sides of gasket & let it tack up and then install gasket. Shake can well & spry some on a piece of cardboard before spraying gasket. As JimN stated don't let copper coat dry. Needs to be soft for a good installation.
