Identify Plow

What model of IH plow is this? And will the bottom off of this plow fit a #8 little genius if they are both the same size(14" or 16")

That plow is either a model 60 or 70. If complete it is worth more than a little genius! If needed and possible I would use the little genius to complete the plow in the picture! Do not part out that plow in the picture!!!!!!! Armand

You should be able to take a bottom off that plow and put it on your Little Genius. I have a Super Chief bottom on my Little Genius and I know of others that have done the same thing.

Just take the whole thing, frog and all. As far as I know, Plow Chief and Super Chief frogs will bolt right on.

I agree,that plow is most likely a #60. Genious parts are not that hard to come by. Please don't cannabalize a 60 to finish a #8.

That's a #70. The telltale is that the axles are ABOVE the frame on a #70.

Definitely DO NOT cannibalize that plow for parts!!! It's an uncommon, if not rare, piece of equipment.

That's even a wide frame #70. Otherwise called a 4-5 frame. My 4 bottom #70 was a narrow 3-4 frame. Please don't part it out- it's a good one.
