Washing tractor

I am wanting to wash down my ole' Farmall A with a belly mower after a busy year, with all the moisture that we have had. Is there any special precautions I need to take, parts to cover, etc., before I go spraying it down with the pressure washer? Thanks

If it has a magneto, you might want to cover that, but otherwise it should be OK...I would add some "Dawn" detergent to the pressure washer, you"d be amazed at the amount of grease and dirt that stuff will take off !!
Best of luck on "er !

DON'T SPRAY TOO HARD AROUND BEARINGS OR YOU MAY FORCE WATER INTO THEM CAUSING PREMATURE FAILURE.I FIND THAT A LEAF BLOWER WORKS REAL WELL FOR LOOSE CHAF AND CLIPPINGS. IF YOU DO POWER WASH IT, RUN IT AWHILE WITH THE MOWER ENGAGED TO DRY EVERYTHING.MARK
